BASIC FUNCTION:
To coordinate and oversee the daily operations of a laboratory facility. Reports to designated Supervisor.EXAMPLES OF DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Issue materials and equipment.
Maintain appropriate laboratory supplies.
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
Provide instruction to students on proper laboratory procedures and methods.
Maintain records and files.
May supervise students and/or provide functional guidance of support staff or other employees who work on a project or assignment on a temporary or intermittent basis throughout the year.
Perform related duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; two years of related experience.Preferred Qualifications:
