BASIC FUNCTION:

Coordinate and assist in the management of online programs and services of Kent State Online. Reports to Senior Program Manager, Kent State Online.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following: 

Coordinate designated educational or student service programs; ensure policies and guidelines are followed.

Provide program information to students/families and serve as spokesperson for Kent State Online.

Communicate with schools, departments, colleges, faculty members, etc., regarding new and existing online programs.

Serve as a liaison to Online Program Management (OPM) providers contracting with Kent State University.

Process paperwork and compensation for online course development.

Support maintenance of degree program course delivery, including ticket creation and program document updates.

Assist with special projects as assigned.

Perform related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in relevant field.

Knowledge Of:

Personal computer applications, including MS Office Word and Excel
Higher education enterprise applications such as Banner and Cognos
Project management computer applications

Skill In:

Verbal, written and interpersonal communication
Attention to detail
Managing multiple assignments to meet deadlines
Data entry, management, analysis, and reporting

Ability To:

Maintain a high customer focus with contacts and students; demonstrated ability to maintain client relationships
Work independently with minimal supervision
Work effectively with coworkers and in teams via virtual meetings
